Alcée Fortier High School sits in the vibrant Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans, Louisiana. Founded in 1931, the school served generations of New Orleans students from diverse cultural backgrounds and communities. Fortier closed in 2006 in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
